Who we are

Layn is a Bahraini fashion house registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under commercial registration CR 55896-4, Manama. These terms govern every order placed through laynbh.com, by WhatsApp, or at our events. By placing an order you accept them.

Products and availability

Pieces marked "in stock" ship from our atelier. Pieces marked "made to order" are cut and sewn after you order them; the delivery estimate is shown on the product page and confirmed by WhatsApp. Colours may differ slightly between screens, and hand-finished pieces vary a little from one to the next. That variation is part of the piece, not a fault.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Bahraini Dinar (BHD) and include VAT where applicable. Prices shown in other currencies are for guidance only; your bank converts at its own rate. We accept BenefitPay, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Tamara (pay in instalments, subject to Tamara’s own terms). An order is confirmed when payment, or the deposit for bespoke work, is received.

Made-to-order and bespoke pieces

Made-to-order pieces can be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering. After that, cutting begins and the order can be exchanged or altered but not cancelled. Bespoke pieces require a 50% deposit, which is not refundable once cutting has started; the balance is due before shipping. Measurements you send us are your responsibility; we will always confirm them with you before we cut.

Delivery

We deliver to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman. Delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping policy. Risk passes to you when the courier hands over the parcel. Please check the parcel on arrival and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged.

Exchanges and refunds

Your rights under the Bahrain Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 35 of 2012) are not affected by these terms. Our Refund policy sets out how exchanges and refunds work for in-stock, made-to-order and bespoke pieces.

Accounts and gift cards

You are responsible for keeping your account sign-in private. Promotional codes are for one use per customer unless stated otherwise and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Intellectual property

Designs, photographs, the Layn name and logo and everything on this site belong to Layn. Please do not copy them without written permission. Reposting our photos on social media with credit to @layn.bh is welcome.

Liability

We are liable for the price you paid for a piece, and for your rights under Bahraini law, but not for indirect losses such as a missed event, as long as we have delivered as promised. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. If something goes wrong, write to us first at [email protected] or on WhatsApp and we will do our best to put it right within 7 working days. Unresolved disputes go to the courts of Bahrain; you may also contact the Consumer Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
